11 February, 2016, New office inauguration:
The key incubation center and research & development unit of Hexagon recently relocated its operations to a new state-of-the-art office space at Hitech City in Hyderabad. To serve the purpose of shaping smart change and better align our expansion, it was rational to move to an avant-garde office environment. Reflecting on the glorious past from 200 square feet to a new facility is spread over 200,000 square feet from 28 years to today, is a new day. The new facility shares the neighborhood with the top MNCs of the world. They are our peers and we will be competing with the best. Built with smart technologies, the new HCCI office presently has a capacity of 1200 seats, with scope to further expand at a rate of 20%.
5 August, 2016, HEXAGON LOCAL:
HCCI threw open its gate for the first of its kind technological and customer’s extravaganza at its state-of-the-art office space at HITEC City in Hyderabad. HxGN Local, Hexagon’s first such multi business customers event in India, witnessed one of the biggest congregation of customers and developers at the product center HCCI. Registrations running full capacity for each business units, was proof of the need/ demand for such developers, sales and industry interaction. It not only champions the cause of the developers to see how the product fare in their real environment but also brings in immense confidence to the customer base to see the real people behind the products/ solutions which they use in their regular setup. Sales did an extremely commendable job in setting up this forum and bringing everyone together. To get a deep insight into the gamut of technology, the day was segmented into well-manicured Sessions in the morning followed by the enthusiastic presentations at the Demo Zone. It also had customers meeting the in-house experts for one- on- one session/s of Meet The Experts.
20 August, 2016, Family Day:
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, employees and their families were invited for a luncheon get together @ HCCI. The get together witnessed for the first time coming together of its extended families. Employees had a glint in their eyes and flight in their steps while taking their grandparents, parents, spouse and children around the campus. Children had a great time at the Fun Zone and the special lunch particularly arranged for them. Meeting and greeting colleagues over lunch was a unique experience.
19 October, 2016, Ex- Employees Meet:
One of the evenings @ HCCI was dedicated to welcome the ex- employees. It was an opportunity for our ex-employees to come together and for us to talk about the change that has taken place across organization including HCCI. HCCI’s growth graph from 200 to 1000 plus employees, expansion of teams and technology to cloud computing, Mobile CoE and movement to the new facility were some of the highlights of the updates.


August 20,2015, HCCI SCRUM CONFERENCE 2015:
HCCI very recently hosted first of its kind event called Scrum Conference 2015 on August 20. After hearing from us about the products we create, across the broader realms of technology, it was now time to tell how we do it. Scrum Conference aimed to bring together the best practices shared by various units, focusing on learning and growth. Topics were carefully chosen and sent for nomination by each units, which were later scrutinized before making it to the final round. Topics nominated were for two tracks of discussion, one was for Product Development practices and the other was on Agile Coach/Leadership. Andrew Veren, Technical Director, Public Safety visiting us from Huntsville, shared his thoughts about how conference such as these can help improve motivation levels and subsequently performance of the teams through such enriched interaction.
HCCI Product Info Day marked the true spirit of excellence in engineering in an incredible show, showcasing innovations from all the units for the first time, which provided a unique opportunity to cash on. Technical information backed by areas of applications, made for an interesting dialogue between the stall owners and the audience. Some of the applications exhibited by the units be it precision measurement or public safety, security solutions globally used by the police forces, or 3D view of large plants, had everyone enamoured and got them talking to know more.
The product conclave was conducted by NASSCOM (IT Industry body of India) at Novotel, Hyderabad on April 15, 2015. This time we had SG&I representing us at the conclave. Some of the products displayed by the unit had overwhelming response from the visitors. Yet another year of participation in the conclave, and it gave us the opportunity to showcase our brand, network among the industry leaders.


NASSCOM (IT Industry body of India) conducted a product conclave here at Hyderabad on April 3, 2014. We participated in the event to build our brand and network amongst the leadership bench. Senior management from the organization were invited as speakers and jury members to guide the start-ups. We also had our stall there talking about our products and innovation.
PPM info Day 30 May 2014, PP&M INFO DAY:
To demonstrate and share the recent product and solution innovations, HCCI held an event called PP&M Info Day on May 30, 2014. The demonstrations consisted of the latest solutions covering process, power, marine and mining industries, which talked about plant design engineering using 3D modelling, Information management, Materials management and Operations and maintenance. One of the most interesting demonstrations was a 3D model walk through powered by Intergraph’s Smart 3D technology using 3D glasses and monitors providing a 3D view of an oil refinery plant.
NASSCOM East held an education summit in Kolkata on July 18, 2014, where academicians and industry leaders were invited to address the student community. The senior management from the organization – Navaneet Mishra, Country Director- HCCI, was invited as one of the speakers. He spoke to students about the importance of ‘Learn to Unlearn’. With an aim to bring the industry and university/college varsity closer for an open dialogue and welcome creative ideas which is mutually benefitting, we had more than 25 professors from 14 universities around the country coming together. The event saw presentations from different product portfolios that HCCI has like Intergraph’s PP&M, Intergraph’s SG&I, Hexagon Metrology, Hexagon Geospatial, Leica Geosystems and NovAtel. “We are happy to go back and present to the students the opportunities that lay ahead for them. The sessions on products and innovation conducted today was not only informative but such innovations need to be shared with the students too,” said Prof. S.K. Sekhar from VIT, Vellore.
